damn, that took a long time, now i just gotta get some good bright lights for the corners!
if neone wants to know what happen read on!
neway rating it from 1 through 10(worth it to not worth it) i give it a 5 because it looks nice and clean now but the trouble that i went through to get it done ooooh booooii. it was fairly difficult... took me all night started from 9, got done with the bumper back on around 3.
to the guys that have cleared there corners, did you guys adjusted your headlamps?! i lined it up mark the wall b4, so i can readjust it, but when i put the headlamp back on the car light beam was in the same position.... i figure it would be out of position
i took off the bumper very easy,
then i had to remove the plastic trim thats over the headlight holders. theres exactly 5 bolts that hold the head light 2 on the top 2 on the bottom one on the side, then disconnect all the bulb connections, remove headlight, hairdryer preferable heat the housing start with thin part work your way in, use a flathead screw driver to pry open the housing, while melting the adhesive(2 people can make this alot faster, used my brother) remove the lens from the housing separatin between the lens and the housing a flathead screwdriver, then one screw is holdin in the chrome part to the lens, once removed. the orange corner is stuck in with 3 tabs on the chrome insert. theres 2 tabs on the outer side and 1 tab on the inner side, break the inner one cautiously any scratches will result in a crappy lookin corner lens. then the orange lens breaks free, now the things you should definitely avoid never use weird cleaners to wipe the chrome insert, i used windex on the chrome part and boy its a cheap quality, the chrome just came off, when you need to wipe the chrome part just wipe off with a dry rag(remove finger prints or the adhesive that got on there), (once again 2 ppl is preferable) use silicon chalk and make it water tight. me and my brother chaulk it up and plus on top of that we used the hairdryer again to melt the adhesive so it sticks more while applying pressure in to the spots(once again water tight otherwise it will bring moisture into the housing when it rains or when its humid).
i was wonderin though my gf has an accord on the headlight the bottomside yellow strip, anyone know if you could remove that too, just like how the tl is???????????
sorry for the VERY LONG post just wanted write sumphin

Did you figure this out yourself? Damn! 6 hours to do? Does it really take that long? I hope you know there was an FAQ that Tim put out in Installations and Instructions. Good Luck with it!
Remember to check out the FAQ's. It really helps!
Here's the link that Snook put out...

Yes, It will take you about 6 hours. Plus you need a lot of patience when opening the lights with a heat gun. I took me a lot longer than that, because I painted the orange plastic with silver and put it back. It looks great.

Yeah, it doesn't look that good when you just take it out. I painted it silver, because my car is silver, but you could painted chrome too or what ever color you desire.

after you painted it, does the light still pass through the reflector? Or is it like a block that sits there now. and if light does pass through, cant you still see some orange when the light makes it glow?

yo dj i read the whole instructions, but there was a lot of no no's in there(i knew it was coming too), so i just took the general idea and thas how i completed my werk. if tried to keep it still on the instructions it would taken me more time to complete so... it says around 4 hours(the guy must be a pro) but i took my time, the lens and housing came off very easily because of that. can you guys show me a closeup pic on that painted reflector?!
