Well I got my Agean Blue yesterday... I love this car... The only fault I can find is that if I'm not going at least 70MPH on the freeway, I feel like I'm going slow....
80 is a comfortable point... but not for the cops... damn...
Anyway Its a beautiful car... One hell of a jump from a Saturn...

It gets worse. With my '00 TL, I found myself averaging 80 on the freeway. With my TLS, I usually average 85-90 on the freeway. Luckily, there aren't that many cops in my area, but I know it's probably just a matter of time.
I know the feeling, I had an Integra Ls 5 speed before this and that car revved at 4000 RPM at 80 MPH, loud and annoying. Now that the noise is gone because it revvs @ 2500 RPm at 90, I tend to go faster than I should.

Dont fall below 4k RPM if you really want to go VROOM. I upshift at 6500 and downshift at 4500 if I really want to haul ass. Although lately I've been driving pretty relaxed (for 2 days....lets see how long I really last).

tell the cops what happened. I got away with a warning once for speeding because i explained to the officer that i am still adjusting to my new car. What he told me was surprizing... he said "nice car!"
WOW... god bless that cop

Here in Alabama 80 in a 70 is no problem. Unfortunately I find myself driving 90+ without realizing it. Of course, we have a lot of idiots that think they own the left lane and 65 is plenty fast regardless of the speed limit!

The lame excuse I am going to use if I get pull over is, "Sir, I am sorry, I just bought this car and I guess I don't know what I got myself into... would you like to take it for a spin?"

You must be in 5th gear at that speed!!! Try have it in 4th gear...sure it's no V8, but still pulls strong...
Keep the RPM close to 2500 range, that should give you plenty of VROOM on highway when you need it...
