Post Clear Corner Lights for TL-S?

This has probably been posted before, but I'm not sure... anyone know of clear front corner lights for the TL-S? I'm not a big fan of "cheese". It aint bad on black ones, but Id like to get rid of it when I get mine. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I had thought about clearing them too. But then I read about how it was supposed to be done, I changed my mind so fast.

Anyway, now I'm glad I didn't cuz IMO I don't like the way it would look on the 99-01 TL. And the 02 seems to have reduced the amount of cheese they have in the front lights.

You can get some clear bulbs for the signals instead to help reduce some of the amber up front.

dang, my spelling.... I mean, yellow reflector... the signal/parking bulb is 1157, not too hard to change, just take out 3 or 4 screws in the wheel well and stick your arm from there to reach the corner light and change the bulb there... takes about 5 minutes each side.

JATLIFE,
Awwwhhh man, every where I turn, Lakers fans!! It's all good though. C-webb won't be on Shaq any longer I'm thinking.

Actually, I'm Lao.
Right now I live in San Jose in Japantown. But I'll be moving up to Redwood City at the end of the month. BTW, are you planning to make it to the meet? Check my sig for the info.

As for the clear bulbs, I say go for it. I'm getting the PIAA Xtreme bulbs. They are brighter than Polarg when on as parking lights, but not too bright when your blinkers are on. Keeps the attention away.

Hey, I read the manual and removed the four screws, but do you need to pull the plastic wheel well out with little force. I tried that, but it seems I might ruin the plastic, so I stop. Don't want to mess up. Any ideas?? Your pics of your car and you looks great!! Thanks!

Yes just pull the plastic with one hand and reach for the bulb wiht another... Lucky I changed the bulbs the next day I got the car, so I don't have to wash my elbow for the grease or mud or whatever is in the wheelwell later on! =P
I have Polarg those blue looking bulbs for corners...
Actually it's a friend of mine... (ahemmm!) I think I should ask her to model for my car some time and take some rolls of pics with her! =)~~

yeah the fender lining takes a little force to pull away...I was afraid of ruining the shape of it, but once you put the retaining clips back in...looks like you never touched it!

Don't worry. You won't ruin its shape. In fact you need to push it in a little bit to get it off the wheel well.
