Installed the CL-6 gauge cluster today to test it out and see what did/didn't work, as well as if any bulbs were blown...which 4 were
I was surprised, the thing was 100% plug and play. I remember reading the 99 TL-P's had problems but I wasn't sure if the 00+ did. I guess not. Tach and speedo are accurate, fuel/temp gauges are right on. All the lights work like they're suppose to (Cruise, immobilizer, brights, SRS, ABS, Low fuel, belts, brake, side airbag, brake-out, charging system, low oil press., check eng., maintenance). I guess I'll go ahead and remove them and put the actual mileage on the rear cover, as well as the mileage on the gauges during install
Turns out the car I got my CL-6 engine and tranny out of had 77, 102 miles when it was totalled.
Very happy about this
Now I have 77K instead of 183K

Wow looks good, and glad it all worked out. Is the no air bags have something to do with your swap?
It is so cool how the RPMs go all the way up to 9k.

I tried running the CL-S6 gauges on the 99 ECU and it didn't work right. Temp gauge doesn't work at all. Tach did and fuel was good as well.. not sure about speedo since I still don't have the module.

good stuff 6MTUA5, that should answer some questions for people. For those watching the video his 6MT temp gauge isn't bad, the signal is different for the 99 models.
What were you saying about the speedo 6MT? it doesnt work?

Whenever you take your car to get a carwash, serviced, oil change, etc many many places write down your milage and report it. Its basically how carfax gets the info

I'm running the 99 TL-P ECU so my speed sensors aren't working correctly. I was referring to getting Richie's module to fix that.
