Don't like that look of the CL's, there too long looking,..... now the Tl its just perfect.

 

was going to get the cl, but the reason i didn't was i couldn't get the underbody kit, still think its strange you cant get that kit for the cl. glad i got the tl now the four doors are so much nicer!

 

Would've gotten a CL-S but with a wifey and 2 kiddies, I settled for the TL-S, with much more room, but with the same amount of OOOMPH!

Personal preference tho, If I was single or no kids, CL-S 6M would be fine for me....

Think I like that better then then the real car, but I still a 4 door sedan. If wanted a 2 door i'd get a real sports car.

I'm NOT sure about this... but I read it in here once, someone posted that... TL's has a better resale value than the CL.

 

CL's are cool. I like the TL better though. It's all a personal preferance, I guess....

 

The CL's rear is too rounded...giving it a nasty look.

 

Agreeded, I love the back of our car, the taillights are perfect and everything else.

 

I liked the CL-S better because I'm 19 and don't need four doors. My family only has coupes cars too (accord coupe and RSX). The CL-S isn't as popular as the TL so its less common. I like the front CL-S sport seats better and the front seats are motorized to move forward to let back seat passengers in/out which is neat. Plus the exhaust tips are like and contour to the bumper. You can get CL-S for much cheaper then TL's because less people want them. The coupe market isn't very strong.

TL's perks are there are more body kits and wings made for them because its more popular and its also was sold in Japan. CL wasn't. 4 doors which convenient.

I don't like the rear on the TL-S and regular 02/03 TL's though. I think it worked fine on the 99/00/01 TL's but when they updated the front of the TL to make it more agressive, the rear stayed teh same. The rear looks too bland to go with teh aggressive look of the 02's+. They should have restyled the rear when they did the front.

 

the CL is gone...that picture is of the TL coupe concept. There were rumors that it was going to be released as a 2005 or 2006 model, but I haven't heard anything lately. In my opinion, there's only one Acura Coupe that's worth buying, and that's the Legend!!

I really don't like the second gen CL at all.
I had a 97 CL before my TLS. I loved it. It was a sweet looking car and I got way more compliments on it then my current modded TLS. You gotta love the look of the taillights, a rear wing is a must though. The only problem was it was so under powered.
