A friend directed me to this site where i found this PERFORMANCE MODULE for a '99TL, it says it wont work for later series. In any cirscumstances, i wanted to hear what you guys think about it. I says it gives up to 25% more HP, ill be happy with 10%=25HP...25%~>63.5HP! LEGIT???

I've also seen this device in many other sites...i looked in google and found MANY places where i can find it. They all say the same though.

The only chip I'm aware of is the Unichip, which gives 10-15 WHP for the TL-S only. There is no Unichip for the TL-P (yet). This product you are referring to: it gives you 25HP for the price of about USD $300? That's very cheap, and in my mind, too good to be true. Unless someone can prove the HP gains with a dyno, I'd stay away from it. Let the buyer beware.

well, it can be possible some kind of hp gain. Performance chips ussually work by tweaking the air/fuel ration and some other stuff. Im going to ask this company for some solid proof.

the hp gains are conditional.. they must have taken the worst situation possible for the primary test and optimized it for their second test with the chip. I would ask for a dyno, and just to let you know.. chips, you shouldnt expect that much safe way is around 10 hp max. unless it changes your ecu to just dump gallons through the injector. i wouldnt expect much. I have something similar to that.. i got like 5 hp at the wheels.im driving tlp 99

haha thats chill. ive ran allot of different kinds.. i messed with tweeking the ohms myself, ive use a resitor, ive use fused resitor, a v-chip, g-force, basically the only thing i havent dont is mod the actual ecu. I think you will be dissapointed to be honest. For that amount of money i would do something else. my seats squeek too.. and it pisses me off
