So a buddy of mine is looking to pick up a 99 TL. Do they have the child seat anchor? he says he looked, but didn't see it there? Or do only the later years have it...like 2002 models? Thanks

 

rear deck on top, little cover flip it open and theres the anchor

 

There is no LATCH belt connectors. You have to use the seatbelt then use the tether on the rear deck. I just went through the same thing w my daughters seat. Its much easier to use the LATCH belt but whatever works I guess. My odyssey has the latch anchor points and it just seems much more stable.

 

There is no latch system or rear deck tether on the 99 TL. I believe it started in 00.

 

^ Thanks for the input everybody!! Yeah he says having the metal latches makes it feel a lot more stable. I don't have a kid, so i wouldn't know haha.
