Dang sorry to hear about that I just got mine replaced at 157k. I have a 99 TL
with such number of tranny issues I would go for the CTS too, unless there is still warranty on your tranny

 

No warranty. ill probably pull it in the garage and swap it myself again (as soon as i figure out what im going to do for a tranny

well i PMed optiq and he responded...his aftermarket tranny with the reinforced kevlar parts f**ked up again.

 

HEy what the symtoms of a failed tranny, I think I got some early signs. SHifting 1 to 2 to 3 kinda jerky, especially with the AC on. I dunno if I am tripping or what but There is a tendenvy for the car to jerk forward a little when the AC on normal tranny so It might just be the AC. My car does shake a little on high speed but that can be my aftermarkte pulley, which I am switching out for UR. So I dunno, I hope tranny dont fial on me. We will see but what are some of the early or some of the symptoms of s fail tranny. I am on my second one but when the first one went out, it went OUT! all the lights came on and all so I jjust need some info. Thanks and damn sorry to hear bout your 4 tranny
