Very unhappy this morning when i was driving normally and my Check Engine Light and TCS light came on, on my 99 tl. I pulled over, turned off the car waited a minute and then turned it back on. This time only the check engine light stayed lit. I contacted my dealer, and got an appointment for tuesday.. You guys think its ok to drive it or no?

Also anyway to find out whats wrong before i bring it to the dealer??

P.S. just had an oil change last week

 

Go to autozone and see if you can get the code. Post it here and see if someone call look it up for you.

the way the tl's computer is very often when the CEL comes on the TCS light comes on

unless the car is acting weird it should be ok to drive

have you had your EGR recall done yet?

 

both times my lights came on it was for the insufficent egr flow

 

same thing happened here and im gonna take it to the shop.
