Check Engine Light On - Throttle Position Sensor

Could anyone please give me suggestions?

I have a 1999 32TL; 2 weeks ago its "Check Engine" light was on. I took the car to a KwikKar and they read the message and told me the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) needs to be replaced. After a week, the "Check Engine" light got turned off (KwikKar did not reset/clear the message/light). Should I wait for "Check Engine" light to come again or should I get this checked at a dealer now. Dealer quoted $375 for parts and labor $180.

Thanks!

its very easy to replace your self. if it is bad do it your self. go to a auto parts store and and replace it. if the light went off wait a while and see if it comes back on (unless your car is running weird)
