check engine light on
It's probably just one. Most likely you have a defective coil. The way you find it is by using a known good coil and removing one at a time and putting in the test coil and see if it goes away. Still nothing? Move on to the next coil and so on until you find it.
thats the solution
buy 1 coilpack ~$50, and keep trying it on each cylinder until the car runs right
Those things are like light bulbs, work fine one minute- then shut the thing off and turn it back---whooops

I just had this fixed this weekend. The dealer told me that my cylinders were giving random misfires so they "reinitialized" my spark plugs and coils. Is there any change in performance? My car was running poorly throughout the first half of the week and it suddenly became decent again before I took it to the dealership. Now it is running like a first class stallion. How many miles are on your car?
