make sure your gas cap is on tight and then make sure your oil levels are good...then reset your ecu.

I had the same problem. How do you reset the ECU? Could it be the fuel?

Thanks

I just did my reset. Neg battery contact -disconnect, press brake pedal, neg bat contact-back, all set. Light is gone, atleast for now.
Be sure that you have your radio code handy to set your radio.

What does that do? I reset mine on Saturday, but didn't press the brake pedal.

In line with this topic, if a light comes on and reset does
not work, where is the diagnostic connector for a scanner.
(I have a scanner but have yet to find the connector).

I had this happen. The dealer told me to make sure I turn the fuel cap for at least 5 clicks. I always make sure it's tight but he said sometimes it's not tight enough and vapor leaks out making the computer think something is wrong with the vapor recovery system.

Took the car to the dealer and 20 min later walked out with a washed car and no more light. I should've told them not to wash but I didn't think they were gonna wash it for such a small fix.
