if you not lookin' for performance brake pads, pep boys' sell raybestos brake pads that arent too bad. otherwise, you can go for axxis metal master brake pads which are quite good.

Get cheramic pads, that will cure brake dust porblem for the most part and they last a long time. less than 35k and your pads are that worn. Either the dealership is making up crap or you do a lot of heavy breaking.

I just bought Akebono ProAct ceramic pads for my rear brakes at www.rockauto.com for about $41 plus shipping. No noise, low dust, and stops better than OEM.

Akebono ceramic pads are very good. No dust, no squeek, stops well, and reasonal price. less than $ 50. EBC green stuff costs $75 and has more dust than ceramic.
I would stick with ceramic.

50 dollars just one pair, and it would be 100 for four
it's simple, you pay what you would get....i would go for EBC or Hawks without a question. they are expensive but they last longer and bites more.
some cheap brand pads might be 50-60 for four, but they are way worse than OEM. if you have a TL then don't be budget minded and save the dimes for the cheap brake pads

if you want cheap, get some cheap brands at a local parts store, but i doubt they will last long and bite at all
110 for the OEM pads is right, since EBC costs more
at canada it's the same price at the dealer, but installation is included

basically you got it wrong, its probably warranty for defects. Other wise the way you put it, you will never have to buy another pair of pads again, since the moment you wear them down, they will give you knew ones.... Get it?

no they are warryntied
i made it blantently clear when i called the manager "so if these wear down, ever, I will be getting new pads". "As long as your rotors arent defective and prematurelly wore your pads then yes, you get new pads"
so that was the deal

weird, but OK.
its like saying here is a coat for you, we warranty any damage or wear and tear on it as long as you dont accumulate any dirt on it...in other words, very easy to void.
but if u got that deal as you are saying, GREAT!

so 60 bucks last for the rest of the life
if they do that then all brakes business has to close down coz they won't make anymore money from replacement pads
u have probably misunderstood sth here

A pad that can last long usually they don't bite at all, just my I wouldn't cheap on brake, they will safe you.
I have axxis metal master now. they are great and i don't mind the brake dust at all. But they do have alittle noise at cold temp, once they are heat up they have good stopping power.

I know with aftermarket pads, you have to be careful of braking squeaky noises, and so I see people have recommended the EBC Green for less brake dust compared to OEM and better stopping ability and what about noise? Is it squeaky?

If you guys really want to just get OEM pads... order from the parts bin. I oreded a couple of times and their prices are good and they have OEM stuff, just doesnt say Honda or Acura on them, its just got the realy manufacturers name on them. As we all know Acura pads aren't made by hOnda they are made by someone else. Why not just buy from the source
I htink the website is www.thepartsbin.com if I'm not mistaken.
But what about noises with aftermarket pads? My previous question.

the aftermarket will squeak until they are full bedded in.
My EBC were making some noise at walking speeds when dragging the brakes. All of the noise went away after about 1,000 miles. BUT THEY ARE SO MUCH WORTH IT! The Bite is Great!
later.
