I have found that Acura Dealerships are selling the OEM kits for 99 TL's at a greatly reduced price. The problem is that they are saying that the 99 TL comes with a Black called Flaminco Black Pearl and the 00 TL is a Nighthawk Black Pearl.

I was wondering if has noticed a great color difference, if any, between the 99 Black TL's and the 2000 Black TL's.

If there is not much or any difference at all, then I'm gonna get the kit tomorrow!!!!

you only see it up close and in direct sunlight. Since it is on the side and the bottom none the less. I dont think you will notice.

Yes guys its true!!! I bought my kit from lynnwood acra for 405$ and 85$ shipped:wow:...The color of the kit is flaminco what dude is talkin bout, and I bought it anyways...You cant notice it...I know, it just looks like the lower skirt is darker at night but you cant even tell in the day...No one could ever tell the two are different unless you really really wanted to get technical...I believe the special is only for black, but ask anyways...Shyne

i don't have a 2nd gen, but it sounds like too good of a deal to pass up. my parents have a 2nd gen, 2000 TL, just wondering if the kits are the same and if they would fit on a 2000.

I just ordered mine...south coast acura...total $290 out the door for the sides and rear under...talk to mike and he said it should be available on friday...I called tustin acura but they were a--holes...might be the one I talked to...this is for the 99 black version...

 

True, I did receive an abnormal amount of calls today regarding body kits.

Here is the low down for 99-01 tl body kits

Front under spoilers with paint codes b93p, g91m, nh578, nh603p,r507p, nh623m, yr508m, nh592p, b92p can be had for $136 plus tax

Rear under spoilers with paint codes b93p, g91m,nh578,yr508m,nh592p can be had for $147 plus tax

Side under spoilers with paint codes b93p, g91m,nh578,yr508, nh592p $146 plus tax

Wing spoilers with paint codes g91m, nh578,b93p, nh592p,yr508m for $158 plus tax

order it from your local acura dealer, the prices should be similar. You dont even have to pay for shipping!

Atlanta's dealerships are garbage, Acura Carland wont ever give these prices, because their selling spoilers on a so called special for $600.

 

And does anybody know of dealerships that will ship the kit's out,

He was going to sell me a kit for my Monterrey Blue Pearl for 475 shipped, but it was out of stock, so he is supposed to be shipping it in.

I think they have the black kits still last time I checked.

 

i got all but wing for 430, did you get the wing too at that price? I am looking into a flush mount wing....

 

all but the wing, just like you. I actually like the no wing look. if i were to get awing, it would probably be the flush mount or the value sports wing.

I called south coast to find out the price for installation if i brought in a kit from somewhere else (here), then Mike let me know of the blowout. This is definately a one time deal, cause after this...there are no more kits!
