hey guys where you keep your cell phones in your car?

im planning to get a magnet so i can stick it on and take it off wheever i want.

what you guys use?

 

i just put it in the cup holders. i am determined to not put anything around my dash area

 

I put it in the cup holder. As far away as possible from the radio. I hate the noise I get out of the speakers when the phone is to close to the radio.

Cupholder, if those are occupied I use the little space under the change holder.

 

I put it in the little dip right below the "coin tray/ ash tray" since I don't have cup holders anymore.

 

i put mine in that little wanna-be ashtray thing, the one with the red "carpeting".

wouldnt a magnet f^ck up the cell phone? just a thought...

 

I have a cellphone holder that clamps itself onto any air vents in a car. Works pretty well for me.

I get the noise about 2 seconds before the phone actually rings.

Funny thing too...only happens when I use my GSM phone. Does not happen when I use a CDMA or a TDMA phone.

 

Only certain phones interfere with the radio..... my current one is not one of them (Startac 7868)

As for where I keep it... it's usually clipped on my belt. If I do take it off in the car I use the cupholders....

 

I use my belt clip/holster and clip it on the sun visor above my head.

 

haha i use the cupholders too but if they are being used i put it in the tray by the coin holder or on the passanger seat.

 

i clip mine on the seat belt right where my chest is...its a nextel and i usally dont have to remove it from the holster unless someone calls me ....most of the time its a key up.

 

i usually keep mine on the door...under the window switches... it fits pretty well there and its easier to receive calls...

i just leave mine on my lap. i usually have my stereo blasting so i leave it on vibrate and i can only feel it vibrate if its on me.

 

Depending on my mood its either in the cupholders, under the chnage tray, or in the door handle. All 3 work just fine for me. Im gonna start using the door handle more, I keep forgetting my cell in the car when I use the other 2 spots.

 

i usually have it attached at my hip... but it doesn't matter where it's at, i always get that weird annoying sound out of my stereo.

 

Damn i'm the only one who keeps it in the CD storage? I keep it in there because theres an ac plug in there. Just have to turn up the ringer all the way so you can hear it. Or when ur radio is making funny noises.

I keep mine clipped to the visor. It's a nextel phone so it works out perfectly. If I get a call, I just hit "speaker" and chat away. Alternatively, I can use voice command and call someone. Totally hands free

 

I keep it in the cupholders sometimes--you can drag an AC adapter cord from the little space between the cd bin out to the cup holder...

and sometimes I keep it at the door handle too
