P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
P0172 System too Rich (Bank 1)

Definitely O2 Sensor but I couldn't tell you which one is bad. Maybe someone else knows.

These are the directions per the manual, before spending any money replacing parts

First have the fuel pressure tested. is it too high or too low?

then test the Primary O2 (the the first one, not by the cat) what are the values. Does it stay at less than 0.3v or more than 0.6? yes replace the O2 if no

test the EVAP canister purge valve with a vacuum pump from the intake manifold side

In short a scan tool that reads live data, You have to reset the ECU, start teh car, hold the RPM at 3000 rpm with no load till the radiator fan comes on (in park or neutral) check the Primary HO2S (sensor 1) With the scan tool. Does it stay at less than 0.3 or more than 0.6V
Yes replace the sensor.

No thats when you need to vacuum test teh evap

Many autoparts stores have them. Call around and ask if they have a scan tool that they can read live data with
