CD Player ere1

  1. My cd player won't eject. when the car comes on the error message comes on and goes straight to radio. I do have burned cd's n there. I can't even load cd's. Is there any troubleshooting sugestions for me to get it working. Thank you for your help.

Ya. It's can be a pain in the ass though. There are several different ways people have seemed to fix it. Some have luck with one method vs others:

^Here are some good suggestions. The method that worked for me when I had this issue was similar to what post #8 says in that thread

good luck

I use post 2 of that thread all the time - use another CD, put it in the CD slot, pushing down on the stuck CD. Works everytime.

happened to me a couple of times already.. some people say smacking the side of the center console will make it work but in my experience.. that doesn't do it. i basically use a flathead screwdriver and lift open the lid, then push up or down on the trays in order to kinda center it back to position.. then i disconnect my battery and reconnect it after 10 seconds.. then the disc should cycle through again and work fine (in my case)

this happened to me also. what i did was just disconnected the battery for 30 seconds to a minute then reconnected and it started to eject. Just remember to have your radio and/or navi code ready.

Did you see a cd jammed when you opened the cd slot? Mine doesn't, so I doubt if it will work in this way. I will try it anyway.
