CD Changer

Hey, I own a 2000 TL and I was thinking about sticking the Alpine CHM-S630 cd changer in my car to fix the burned cd problem. From my searches on the forums I see that this changer will allow the headunit/steering wheel controls to control it. What I am wondering is what cable I need to connect the changer to the headunit, some threads say blitzsafe is needed, other say that just a cable is needed. I found this cable on crutchfield and was wondering if this would work... it looks like what others have said is needed, but if anyone has installed this changer or the model before it the 620, input would be great!

Thanks Guys, this forum is awesome!!

I have a 620 to resolve my burned CD issue, but that in itself was only a temp solution. I bought a used 2002 TL headunit for $140 and installed that. The 2002-3 TL 6 disc changer fits in the 2000 TL, the steering wheel controls work, and plays burned CDs. It looks stock and has a built in changer for easy access.
