It might be terrible difficult to assist you since your car ignition system is now modified for the Remote Start, We don't know exactly the variables to the installation to pin-point the cause.

You might wanna have the Remote Start checked from the shop that did the work.

I don't understand it's been over 3 years since the alarm/remote start has been in. And it seems to work. The night before it was perfect it did rain this morning maby a short.

When you say nothing works like your odometer or windows can you clarify? Are you getting power to the gauge cluster? Windows roll down and up? When you state that the remote start works and the cars on but as soon as you step on the brakes it turns off? Could be brake sensor. That also controls the unlock of the shifter so you can move it out of part. Sounds like you got a few things going on. As stated previously get the remote start checked out or have it bypassed for now to verify if that may be causing an issue.

Yes my windows don't roll down and the cluster does not come on either the radio and navigation turns on, as soon as I use the remote start the cluster works as well as windows. Still does not move out of park unless I press down button on side of shifter.

Your issue is some electrical interference in the Remote Start system. By factory the Brake Pedal/Lights should not get in the way with how the car starts or run.

So if the car shutdowns entirely when you press the brake pedal it should be something from the remote start interfering with the shift lever release mechanism. As the engine ignition is not tied in any way, shape or form with the brake pedal. Definitely something went south with the remote start.

Main reason why I don't believe in Hack-In remote start systems.

Am I able to post a video up. We'll I no why it shuts off when I hit break that's part of the security when I start up with remote so when it is on some one just can't take my car unless key is ignition. But now even with key in ignition it shut off like if key was never in. Can it be a key issue.

The only model that consistently had Ignition Switch failure is the 99TL and some 00s.. 01 and up are very rare.
But still wont explain why when you press the brake pedal the car shuts-down.

My car is a 99 TL. The break part I undunderstand cause that is a security mechanism from the alarm if key is not in ignition. My problem is ignition not reading key mayby. Are a ignition switch problem I'm going to pop switch out and start with screwdriver.

In that case I think its the ignition switch that is either bad or when they spliced into the ignition switch is loose or not having a good connection. Double check around that area.

I've seen a bad ignition switch cause this problem. The remote starter bypasses the ignition switch, allowing it to run even with a bad switch.

The ignition issue is that there is no ground being made for the ECU to think you are in Key Position II (which turns on the ECU) basically your remote start by-pass it and when its time to start moving (move out of park) the ECU realizes there is no key on position II and shuts-down entirely.. << Entirely Presumption.

The ignition issue that riddle the 99TL wasn't the key being recognized. Its a ground problem that makes the ECU shut-down. Replacing the Ignition Switch will be the smart move now.
