Both are great cars. However, only the TL-S is a practical daily driver. Don't get me wrong, I love the S2000, but it's not practical as your only car.

well, i have to agree. and this is why:
you live in the bay area, so you could drive the s2k all the time. but this is the thing, you're gonna destroy the value on it. the TL-S will not keep the same street value. so if you have to drive something all the time you're better driving the TL. (also due to gas, cost of repairs, driveability when it does rain/hail/whatever).
at you're age (take no offense, i'm not too much older) it's really awesome to have two nice cars, but i would say sell the s2k and get a supercharger for the TL. then you won't miss it so much ;o) plus i refuse to believe you're not in alot of debt owning both those cars, that is unless you're family was nice enough to get them for you. in which case, are you're parents looking to adopt? :P

I have a different take. Keep the S2000. If you don't need a back seat then enjoy this stage of your life while you can. You can always rent a car for those weekend trips where you need a sedan.
Once you have a family you won't be able to drive a two seater.
In other words you've got 30-40 years of four door sedan driving days ahead of you so enjoy the S2000 now!

i suppose though if you never find yourself with more than 2 people in the car then i would probably ditch the tl as well. although i do love it dearly......
and actually, i don't think you *can* rent a car at 22. at least i know you can't in new york.

"03 UA5 NAVI J32A2" - Means, 2003 (03), Acura TL (or Honda Inspire) (UA5), Navigation (NAVI), with the Type S engine (J32A2).
"01 AP1 F20C1" - Means, 2001 (01), Honda S2000 (AP1), with the standard 2.0L 240hp engine F20C1)
UA5/AP1 are the bodystyles, J32A2/F20C1 are the engines. Since some cars like the TL can come with two different engines.
DC2 = Acura Integra (previous generation, 95-00 model), B18C5 is I believe the Integra GS-R engine ... Don't quote me on that though cuz I don't recall exactly which engine the B18C5 is.
By the way dohcrwd, if I had to make your decision ... I dunno what I'd do! I love my S2000, but the TL is a great daily driver. And the NAVI is great too.

thats a tough one... but if you need the money i would probably sell the s2k. since the 04 tls came out its pretty hard to get a good price on it... the depreciation on the s2k shouldnt be as bad i dont think...

Burning Brakes
I'd keep the TL-S. It's fast and practical. I had an '01 Z06 as my daily driver (and only car) before getting my '03 TL-S and it bothered me when it'd rain. I'd worry about flooding and hydralock, hail, etc.. Here in Houston when it rains it usually rains a lot, quick. That usually incites street flooding and the Z06 was low. I also couldn't fit but one extra person in it and I couldn't really get on it too much (~400 hp in it) in town.
It's all good now, the TL-S is a good compromise and a hell of a lot cheaper. The Z06 was having crap break too (Chevy...) and was just about to run out of warranty when I got rid of it hehe.
The S2000 is beautiful but I'd have to have another car (beater if necessary) as a daily driver. I think if sometime down the road I get another sports car I'll probably get a S2000. I considered it before I got the Z06.
Anyway, my $0.02
