what does it mean when the srs light stays on? im guessing bring to an acura dealer?

 

I think it means your airbag is switched off by the computer. for example, when somebody leans on the side door..usually the panel shows passenger side aibag warning to tell you that it disabled the airbag from deploying...

So, in your case..if you and everybody else is sitting right inside the car and the srs is still on..bring it to the dealer..and let them check on it...

 

I had that light come on for me when I was moving a bunch of boxes in my car. They were just blocking the SRS sensor. When I moved them away the light went off shortly after.
