Car problem, running weak, dies in neutral.

Hey! How's it going?

Well, car has been great so far owning it, no problems at all.....but this morning I took it to the Acura dealer for an oil change and 14 point inspection or whatever because I wanted to. They took about 45 minutes, then I drove the car to work afterwards. Stayed at work for the whole day and then as I left work at night I turned on the car......and it seemed like it was running very weak. I popped the hood open and I saw the belt turning pretty slowly too. I gave it a little rev and they were weak, the revs fell down and the engine died. Radio and electronics still on. Started the car up again, had to gas it a little to get it to start. Once started, it was still running weak. Died after I revved it a little. No engine check light.

I tried to back out and it kept dying like it wasn't getting enough fuel so I really gassed it going back and forth trying to drive away, then after a bit of that it started running strong again.

I drove all the way home afraid it might die, but no problem. Listened to the fuel pump and it seemed to be working. The car seemed to turn on normal now. I looked at my spark plugs and they were looking kinda old so I changed them out.

The car turns on strong now and runs normal again but I was wondering what the heck was that problem? It seemed like it was only from a cold start. Could it have been something they did at the dealership with their inspection? They didn't tell me I had problems so I thought all was gravvy. They were closed so i couldn't call and tried to fix the problem myself. I hope I will not experience it tomorrow morning.

So, so far, all I did was replaced the spark plugs. Car seems to be running normal again.

Anyone ever had this problem? Thanks.

What was the mileage on the spark plugs? That seems odd, I would still bring it back and explain what happened.

Lol... there would have been no way I would have driven it home.

I would have shoved that shit back in the dealers face, and made them give me a brand new TL loaner for the night.

Probably one of those "eversince" problems. "Ever since I was in your RF to get the oil changed....................................."
