CAI...finally!

I just spent nearly 3 horrible hours in my poorly lit garage with a flashlight, attempting to install my AEM CAI. Was my first actual DIY install, only other thing I've done is debadging and removing intake resonator. Surprisingly, the hardest part was removing those little jackass gromlets, especially the two little shits on the grill, which I still have yet to put back in place.

Just took it for a test drive and it is f'ing f'ing f'ing awesome, even more f'ing awesome cuz i did it myself. I kno, im a noob compared to most of you guys on the DIY stuff, but it still feels good.

I guess the hissing noise just comes with a CAI yea? I love how the car has a nice little turbo sound to it every time it accelerates. I kno, pointless story, but i just felt like typing it out...time for bed.

hey did you get that little piece of shit brakcet to go in its palce .. the one thats near the battery ? i pushed and tugged and pulled and couldnt get it to go in[place for the life of it .. i did however manage to get the air filter to not touch the foglight by pushing it further on the filter .. however it was impossible to put the clamp the supplied with the cai to fit around the filter and pipe

yea i got it in there...first had to remove the original bracket that was there for the air filter.

thing is, in the AEM instructions it says to put the rubber mount first and then the CAI bracket, but that was very hard so i jus put it under.
