looks like any CAI- If you can read and follow the DIY on here for one- its no problem to install
Anything to get more air to the engine is good- just removing the intake resonator box helps- thats coming off for cai anyway

Have a friend help remove the bumper cover- its bulky
Wrapping some rubber band type material around it in a few places reduces noise/resonance in the pipe itself
Also using a rubber plumbers fitting called- No Hub coupler- will make a rubber splice inline to reduce vibration
Some wrap reflectex around the pipe to keep hot air away from the metal

u can use exhaust wrap on it to keep the noise and heat down, change the filter to a k&n filter and have fun with it

a pipe is a pipe, but thickness comes to play with resonance and heat

i bought it, put a dry flow on it, and works fine, the only thing that they sent wrong was the coolant bypass hose, was wrong inner diameter and broke right away cause it was pinched.

psssha if i had seen a nice one like that i woulda jumped on it. like i said before, it's crappy ebay engineering, it's 66% as good as the awesome AEM one. the AEM one makes what? 3 HP? then this thing makes 2. you're saving 200 bucks, throw it on a pulley. or a better filter

I bought one too. My mounting bracket broke, so I had to make some custom changes to it. But what do you expect for something so cheap. Thanks for the K&N filter idea, I am going to do that this week. Other than that it works great and sounds better than stock!

it takes 600°C to melt 6063 Aluminum, which is used for the ebay intakes

i dont think it will "warp" so easy. AEM uses the same type of aluminum. where are you getting your facts from?

and to OP if u are buying it, look for metal burns on the inlet ports on the intake. if u can file them down, and clean the inside. mine had a lot of dust from forging, so i cleaned it with TB cleaner

u dont need the melt it to warp it. constant heat cycles and engine movement can cause the mounting bracket to snap.

I didn't take off my front bumper to do the install. Just pulled the tire and folded back the fender well. It went smooth and only took about an hour.
