I just hope this modding doesn't become addictive. Wait, isn't some one designing a turbo kit? Bwahahaha!

I'll post my freeway dyno results later .

I thought my TL was decently quick when I got it and said I don't need to mod it, look at MY list... and umm, I still think it's slow...

Just finished traffic school, so speeding tickets are not an option. Dam, now I need a radar detecter!

I have to agree. Man, every dime I got went into upgrades for my Honda. It was getting ridiculous. Definitely addictive!

Well let's just say that the install of the headers was unpleasant, I hate working on exhaust systems. Even at lower rpm's the car seems to show improvement, and on the top end wow!!! My car is no longer "slow like turtle," as I remember someone mentioned the difference from having and not having headers.
Geeze why doesn't honda sell the cars with these things? This car really screams now!!! Just gotta make sure I have a clear path ahead of me before I nail the accelerator!!! Now I can really spin the tires!

My only complaint is that when the car is cold the engine lopes at idle. Maybe someone has a solution? I'm gonna try to reset the ECU for starters.

I think resetting your ECU is a good idea. Just give it a few days of driving, and it will go away when the ECU adjusts.

I went out, unhooked the negative battery terminal, removed fuse #6, stepped on the brake, and rehooked everything back up.
All is well now, the idle is back to normal. I haven't driven it yet, but should I drive aggresively to retrain the ecu? Thanks!

I honestly don't think that makes much of a difference in the long run. I've done it both ways, and after a few days it's driving just like it always did.

I recommend driving normally - if that includes a few WOT highway on ramps (like my normal driving) it won't hurt.

Thanks for the help everyone! Although I have another problem, my tires are squelling way too much now. I think I need new tires.

Now you need to shell out $300 for an Injen or AEM c/a/i so that you can scare the shiznit out of everyone around you when the vtec engages and you blow by them...

The stock shoes really suck anyway. At least you'll have fun giving them the death they deserve!

Hahahah! I'm in the process of euthenizing my tires.

The car is loud, my resonator is removed but not as loud as with a CAI. Anyhow, from a stop I nailed vtec in a freeway underpass, and freaked everyone out

I'm thinking AEM V2!!! They must be loud. We have to wait until they come out I guess :banghead:
