Tire gone
Tire gone
Blew it out hitting a pothole, stock tire.
Anyone know a place where I can get it replaced at a reasonable price in Northern NJ (preferably Essex County area)? Thanks.
Currently have the doughnut on.

Also, if I don't replace with stock (driver front blew out), is it ok to replace just one tire with, say, Sumitomo or some other brand and leave the other 3 as stock. My car only has like 6600 miles on it, don't want to change the stock tires so early.
ETD Ties in Englewood and Hillsdale. If you take the drive to Hillsdale ask for Peter or Joe, they'll take care of you. They are the tire guys that gave me new tires even after I drove 3000 miles on the 225/40/18's and replaced them with 225/45/18's for free.
Use this as an opportunity to sell the other three and get some good tires.
If you must, you should replace two tires (ie. two front or two rear) unless you buy a matching one and even then, make sure to rotate regularly.

I have two stock michellins with about 12K miles. I replaced all four of my tires b/c my two front tires were giving me trouble. The two I have are from the rear and are in very good condition. I was thinking of making one of them into a full size spare, but if you want to buy one used tire, you can choose from the two. I am located in Queens, NY. If you are interested, email me at hatzq68@aol.com and make me an offer. Thanks.
