Sure, something like that.
If you are having to refill, you know you have a leak, right?
Don't forget to shake it first and hold can upside down (liquid going in through hose, not gas) engine running, and dont put too much.

There is a fill procedure and max psi as well. I dont remember the exact psi but there is a thread on it with the min and max and instructions.

Modern cans now say to hold upright when filling the ac~
I just topped of the neighbors truck and the kids car-- and read it with my glasses on and everything!!
AC freon is not to be played with by the totally untrained-HAZMAT!!!!
If you have to ask if the engine should be running- you lack basic understanding of the system- and can easily overfill/over pressurize it- and when that happens-
expensive holes appear
thats my opinion as someone who works on ac all the time
borrow the guages from parts store ands get someone who knows what they are doing to help you- wear safety glasses too

Plug, spray, cap off and done correct?
What does that even mean as to procedure?
