i just got a silver 02 tl s and im not sure what to do to make it not look like all the others...any ideas

on the dealing, and yeah, unfortunately there isnt an abundance of appearance mods for our cars. Only a few body kits, no aftermarket head lights / tail lights. But theres still options. Rims, lowering springs, badge delete, spoiler, lip kits...

 

to make it different.. you can..

get a spyder body kit, get some 12000K hid for low beams and fogs... get some 22s... and fake tein s-techs.. put a HKS hi-power universal muffler on... tint your windows pink...
debadge your trunk and put the 3rd Gen TL ACURA on the top left and the 3rd Gen TL-S badge on top right.. and put HKS sticker on lower right of trunk..

there are soo many possiblities.. even the ugly ones... heck, you could even get those fender grill stick ons from pepboyz..

don't ask us what to do, ask yourself what you want to do. its your car, your ride.

A JDM Inspire spoiler will set you apart. Very rare and very few of us have them.

 

Thats like telling to find a unicorn rip its horn off and use that as hood ornament. But c0v3rr1d3's got a point, if you wana stand out JDM stuff is the way to go.

Get the factory kit, drop it and a set of clean rims (possibly 19's)....you want to be different in a good way and you'll certainly stand out from any stock TL out there....dont go too crazy.

Get some 20' chrome wheels, some mirror tint and add another set of fog lights to your grille. Then put stickers on your door and rear windshield of the companies that you decided to purchase from.
Don't lower your car & make sure you put chrome on your door sills. After that I'm sure you'll stand out.....

Very clean! But I dont get why anyone would go from "luxury" brand to honda. I mean obviously the Japanese arent vain like we are that they need to differentiate between the rich guy and poor guy versions of the same car. BUT WE'RE AMERICANS DAMN IT!

Silver really can be accented nicely utilizing either black or chrome trim mods in moderation. Window tinting is an effective mod in either smoke or chrome gradient. Smoked tails and eyebrows for some. Wheels are always a proven winner, again either charcoal or chrome......depending on the personalized look you desire. You could even try spashing some red pinstripes on the bodysides or redline tires ! Perhaps try the "aero" kit in a contrasting charcoal ? Some front fender ports, a louverd hood, a unique rear spoiler or mirrors.... etc. !!!!! Ya gotta use your own original imagination for the total desired effect to all tie in. Maybe tu-tone the interior ? Hopefully, there's something available that'll lift and satisfy your interest in helping to turn other's heads in envy. Good luck !
