Has any one else had a problem similar to this ???? please respond my tl just hit 50k last week and yesterday the blower motor went out and i need a new motor for it. the part is ordered i just want to know if anyone had similar problems

Yes this is a pretty common problem with the TLs. I found numerous posts on this forum after the same thing happened to me last week on my 2000 with 104k miles. In my case I had to get the blower motor, wiring harness, and transistor replaced and the dealer charged me over $400 (Flatirons Acura in Boulder, CO).

God thats a lot of dough for a blower motor. I bought one for 75 bucks on line and am looking for the connector, but I am going to hit up the junk yard before I buy a whole harness.

mine went out, it was actually just the pigtail. the motor was fine. i got a pigtail from a local junkyard, spliced the wires and fixed it for only $15.

Check your fuse. My blower motor quit working and I pulled out the fuse, checked it (it was OK), put it back in, and the motor started working again. I guess somehow the fuse had become unseated.
