Broken outboard boot at front axle! what solution?

Hi guys!
When I do the oil change today, I found that the outboard boot of the driveshaft at passenger side was broken. It cause the grease to leak around control arms. So I wonder if I need to replace the boot or I have to replace the whole right axle? I found the CV boot kit on amazon but not so sure it will fit TL. Anyone tried that? Here's the boot kit:

Honestly go for a new one that axle is probably on its way since all the grease is not being held in. If theres one thing I learned about axles is to never go with reman stuff nothing but headaches. That would be my advice hope it helps ya.

I would advise just getting a new axle. Replacing a CV boot will prove to be a massive pain in the ass, and it is a lot easier to pull the axle and put a new one on.

Hey Hugous, while it's possible to replace the axle's CV boot, don't bother with the unistyle kit. If you're able to do the labor yourself and ya know that the CV bearing joint is still good, then clean....relube and install an OEM style replacement boot. Less then $50 and your DIY time.

But, if you're paying a shop to do the work, then either buy a new complete axle assembly or a high quality reconditioned part to replace the old one with. Depending on the price of the axle, figure less then $300.

Just by looking at the boot I already know its a bad idea.... Do the AXLE the right way and dont look back.

Highly recommend napa axles although there price is $100 here in NY. One of my customers went with an autozone axle in his 99 TL for $75 recently lets see how it will hold up.
