Brakes-Steering Need Help

Hi Guys,
I need some advice, My tl-s need front brakes very very soon. I was wondering if i should change them myself. I haven't changed the brakes for a Tl-s before.Other then that when i steer my steering at a particular angel it makes a squeaking sound as if something is dry.It comes from inside on the car. Any idea??
please advise!

I had an issue with my wheel where when I turned sometimes there'd be a horrible squealing sound, turned out to be busted wheel bearings.

as for brake pads, everyone says they're easy to change by yourself, I always just go to the mechanic anyway (dont have a good jack or anything like that, and Im not going to bother with the crappy stock jack).

if you have the time, you can definitely do it, the hardest part is jacking up the car.

The two "grrrr" noises are your ABS and VSA running a self-diagonstics test. The first one is the ABS pressurizing the system (so yeah, the dealership was right), and the second noise is the VSA (you wouldn't have this noise on the Premium models because there's no VSA).

Absolutely nothing to worry about. In fact, if you did NOT hear those two noises, then you should be worried.

it allows to you control the Vtec kickin in time along with outher triggered options......in other words gives you more control of the engine and its output when you want it...its not a horsepower gainer.

It allows you to adjust air/fuel ratio, and change VTEC engagement/disengagement point to help smooth out the power.

It's not a major power adder; rather, its purpose is to make the powerband smoother. It has to be dynotuned by a professional.

On top of adjustments, it can also display real-time data.

The self-diagonistics tests are only initiated once you start driving. It's in your owner's manual. It will tell you which test is done at which speed.
