Well its been a year plus already and hopefully and finally after doing some research on this forum and others, the mechanic that told me about my brake problems is hopefully correct. I had a problem with soft brakes for a year and actually have gotten use to it too. I first had the car bled but it didnt work so I had the Master Cylinder changed with an Acura Oem one and that didnt works so I went for a second opinion at crappy ass Paragon Acura in NY and they rebled my system but still didnt fix squat. Then I went back but this time I changed my aftermarket pads to the Acura OEM ones and along with the resurfaced my rotors and that didnt work either. So basically I went back to the mechanic who did my Master cylinder and he said it was the ABS Modulator maybe since my symptons, which were when I applied the brakes I would have to press it all the way down to the floor to actually stop and if I repumped the the brakes it would get firmer . So I gave it up since the ABS modulator was around 900 for a brand new one and to install it with bleeding would cost another 150 and that was a total of 1050 . Finally after finding a used one on some website that another member posted I and got me a used ABS Modulator. They actually gave me an 02 Honda Accord one but they said it was all compatible plus I had 90 days if anything goes wrong I can exchange or refund it. Well so far so good, Im glad the brakes feel firm again . Praying also that it is finally fixed or else Im just gonna go haha. Hmm next up is some new tires, Yokohoma Avid 4s is probably the way to go since all I've been reading on the forum is positive.
