To many holes, which degrades the structural integrity of the rotor. If you want drilled then go with Irotors which have fewer holes + they don't really tell you specs on those "performance" rotors. They are probably a $15.00 Allsafe rotor that is drilled & slotted by a machine shop.

Also look into Rotora slotted.

JUST ASKING HOW DO YOU FIGURE THEY HAVE TO MANY HOLES THERES NAME BRAND CROSS DRILLED ROTORS THAT IVE SEEN THAT HAVE PROBABLY MORE HOLES THEN THAT. WHOULDNT THE OTHERS WITH MORE HOLES BE MORE DEGRADING TO THEIR INTEGRITY. AT LEAST THESE HAVE A WARENTY. I DONT THINK ANY OTHERS IVE SEEN HAVE.

Yeah, anything with more holes will decrease the structural integrity of the rotor because there is less material there. IMO, slotted are the way to go...crossdrilled, even though they have gotten better, are still going to crack. Not something I wanna deal with.

All rotors start their life as blanks & then have slots or holes drilled into them by either the manufacture or someone else. There are companies that buy these "name brand" rotors and have holes drilled into them.
Why do you think these companies drill holes in the rotors for, structural integrity or looks?

I don't know what length of the warranty is (90 days, 500 miles etc) the warranty is worthless IMO & they all have some kind of warranty. First off, those drilled rotors will crack after 90 days. Second, you will spend a lot of time & money removing them and paying to ship them back.

This is to many holes

This is acceptible

These are dimple drilled, meaning they are not drilled all the way through

I would also consider cryo treating at least your front rotors if you do go drilled.

Here are brand names:
Rotora
Irotor
Power Slot
Brembo
Zimmermann

Heres a good article on rotors: http://www.aa1car.com/library/2003/bf10312.htm

You will find many members on this site running ROTORA slotted rotors. They reduce brake fade, brake well, and are not prone to warping like the stock rotors.

If you need rotors PM me with your zip code for prices.

I found a Brembo rotor the plain one from tirerack.com and it's quite cheap like $65 (I know it's just plain not slotted nor drilled) but it's quite cheap...what do u guys think? no good?

Overpriced. You can get Rotoras & Irotors for less

Rotora

Irotors

You can get the Irotors as slotted only. Just let them know when you order.

The Brembos are the same price as the Irotors + people have had some issues with the Brembos warping, just do a search on here. IMO I would go with Irotors before Brembo unless you cryo treat them, then it doesn't realy matter which one you get.

I have EBC sport rotors front and rear along w/ Greenstuff pads. They feel much better than stock.

People have mentioned them. Just do a search and you will find. The only thing with powerslot is that they only make front rotors for our cars and if you get the slotted then you will have to buy slotted rotors from another manufacture for the rear. Unless you don't mind having slotted in the front & blanks in the rear.

Power Slot Cryo's at AutoAnything.Com

I just placed my order from AutoAnything.COM for a front set of Power Slot Cryo's and Hawk HPS brake pads. Price was much better than Tire Rack and I had a 10% off coupon and free shipping. Total for 2 rotors and pads delivered was under $300.

AutoAnything Graphic

I'll let you know how these work out for me.
