brake pads

Brakes feel weak and starting to squeak a little. What's a good brand and is it hard doing it yourself?

EBC GreenStuff Pads are the best in my opinion, and its not hard replacing them yourself, the hardest part is jacking up the car and removing the wheels.

(EBC u can get on tirerack or PepBoys)

no, iRotors have problems... because they are drilled and slotted and some TLers here have problems with them. Rotora is ideal because it is only slotted thus making them much more reliable for dispersing the heat, plus they have more breaking area than drilled resulting in better (city) breaking and longer lasting, since drilled rotors can crack plus they eat up the pads faster.

I went with rotora because ppl from the earlier groupbuy of the iRotors have problem with their stuff...

BUT who knows.

i purchased the rotors at www.modacar.com Rotora rotors: 142 for the front, 120 for the rear.

EBC pads from tirerack. 128 for front and rear including shipping.

Its pricy but worth it. My rotors are terribly warped and i dont want to encounter this problem again for a long long long long time.
