Brake Pads

I see there have been several posts in the past about brake pads and I read many conflicting things. I'm posing this question now to get the latest, greatest comments to this question: What are the best brake pads for a stock 2002 TL-S?

Requirements: Little to no more noise than stock pads, little to no more dusting than stock pads, higher "bite" than stock.

Thanks for all comments!

Jason

Endless. Take your pick of the different types they have.

You will want to change the rotors too.. The stock rotors are too "soft" for agressive brake pads.

Any recommendations?

What rotors do you recommend for use with stock TL-S wheels?

If you go with any other brand of aftermarket brake pads other than Endless, then yes, you should upgrade your rotors to aftermarket rotors. But Endless pads are made from a soft composite material that won't warp your rotors, so they can be used with OEM rotors. Rotora and Brembo rotors are recommended, both are good.

ROTORA ROTORS ARE THE BOMB. I JUST GOT MINE INSTALLED AND THEY ROCK!!!! I bought them from PERFORMANCECENTER DOT COM for $290.00 shipped for both front and rears. I then bought Greenstuff brake pads from TIRERACK DOT COM for $130.00 shipped for both front and rears. These brake pads work really well with this rotor and they leave NO DUST as opposed to some other aftermarket brake pads out there. I would definately tell you that if you are looking to upgrade the brake pads then you MUST upgrade the rotors concurrently otherwise you'll kill your stock rotors even more. You definately will feel the difference and won't be disappointed!

GOOD LUCK!
