Should I stick with stock or should I go with something else? I'm currently running a stock radio but I may upgrade to something to somthing that will run a 10in JW3 and upgraded door speakers. any sugestions?

 

your battery has nothing do with a stereo upgrade unless you run it when the car is off.

if the total amperage of your equipment excceds the stock rating of your alternator, then you will damage your alternator if you run stereo equipment without an upgrade.

get the stock battery and upgrade your alternator (if it needs it).

 

especially in the HEAT, HEAT, HEAT!!! and it's hot out there!!! get yourself an optima yellow top gel-cell! no more dead batteries!!! then if you upgrade your alternator later you're set!!! i've had to replace the battery after 2 years in every honda/acura ( only cars i've had since 88! ) whattya gonna do?

 

I replaced mine with a Diehard Gold.... If it dies in the next 5 years, I get another one free.

 

a free one? Dosn't sears pro-rate there battery and tire warranty?

 

Usually, yes, but my car just happened to die when Sears was running a promo on the gold series.
