Brake pad mod?

I found the endless brake pads but on the bottom there's this fine print that says slight modifications maybe needed for proper fitment. Does anyone know what slight modifications i need to do?

It's too bad my post on Endless Vita Nuova Type 1 pads won't show up anymore when you do a search. But you are in luck: here's my original post and review about these good pads:

I believe I fully covered everything regarding the "slight modification" that is required in the above post. If you have any additional questions, let me know.

I got the Satisifed Cermaic pads off TIRERACK. It is better than stock and runs cooler. Meaning less brake wear and better stopped distance.

LOL! No, you can't use sand paper, coz it's metal right...you need an actual machine sander that can sand down metal. Most mechanic shops will have this, just get them to do it for you (that's what I did). Once that hump is gone, you are good to go.
