Is the brake lights connect...

to the trunk light?Because the trunk light goes on every time when i hit the brake.Is that normal?

How about your TL??Please drive it and pull down the arm rest on the back seat then you can see the light in the trunk,let me know Thanks

Dude, it's not your trunk light.... it's the high mounted third stop light.... get your butt inside the trunk and look upwards... you will see the third light assembly with bulbs exposed....
