Brake light is ON temporarily

Hi there,

I have a 01 TL and recently I notice that the brake light is ON temporarily when I press the brake to slow down especially if the road is wet. I checked the foot brake was released completely. Have any one of you guys faced similar problem?

check the brake fluid level, you are probably low.

Sounds like exactly the same problem I had. Check your brake fluid and if thats okay, go to the dealer and have them replace a sensor in the master cylinder cap.
