BOSE system code?
I just took my car to a shop to get my hood replaced (car accident), and when I got it back, the Stereo system wouldn't work! It's a standard BOSE system that came with my 2000 TL, and when I turn it on, it keeps asking for a code!
and of course, being the impatient person I am, I keep pushing in random numbers for kicks (none of them working of course) until the system eventually locks out and I can't key in any more codes!
HOW DO I GET THE SYSTEM TO ALLOW ME TO PUNCH IN NEW CODES AND WHERE CAN I GET THE CODE TO THE SYSTEM?

If all else fails, you can call a dealership and give them the pin number. They can easily find the code for you. However, some dealerships will charge upwards of $40 for this service.

Welcome to AcuraZine!
Unplugging the battery will not allow the headunit to function - it requires your specific radio code.
Pay a visit to or call an Acura dealer or Honda (Acura) customer service and give them your Vehicle Identification Number (located on the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side and on your vehicle registration). They can give you the code after verifying that you are the current owner. And btw, I wouldn't pay any money for that..all they do is type it into the computer for a search!

this happened to me. just call your dealer from your car and tell them what happened. the service manager will ask you to hold down preset 1 and 6 and turn the car on. the radio will give you an id number. he will then take that number and use it to look up your security code. its very easy and simple. they will do it right over the phone
