Blitzfree M-link

This is my first post so forgive me if its in the wrong section. i have a 2001 TL with navi and I want to connect my ipod to the factory HU. I've heard the connections thru the actual ipod data port are the best as you can control it thru the HU and charge your ipod. The icelink seems a bit expensive.

Has anyone had success with the blitzsafe M-link 1? Is there a better alternative?

blitzsafe doesn't control through HU, but I love mine... lets me keep stock CD changer too...

Easy to install, gets all the power it needs from the HU, charges while driving and for 20mins after you turn the car off

www.mp3yourcar.com I think I'm going to try this one, it's pricey but it seems worth it.

Neo iOn at mp3yourcar.com works well, too. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES get an Icelink. Dension are crooks. Shipped the wrong cable to me, said they'd ship it 'in a few days', that was 6 weeks ago. I'm out $200. Got the Neo iPod.

Oh, this thread is in the wrong place. There's an entire Audio forum where this topic gets discussed weekly.

According to the site, my 2003 TL is only compatible with their cassette adapter product... This is the 2G TL forum, so am I missing something?

Thanks!

However, I guess by the response I got that this is wrong...

In any case...

Bottom line, I am looking for an iPod direct link option for the 2003 TL Type-S with Nav... I have been having a very difficult time finding a solution that works with the combo indash 6 changer and NAV... the Icelink doesn't seem to work...the Blitz doesn't seem to work...

My understanding (after doing some surfing) is that the earlier 2G TLs are not the same as the later 2G TLs...so the solutions don't work across all the 2G models...

But am not beyond missing something... Anyone know of a good solution?

Thanks!
