Big problem need some help/input

So recently i have heard a knocking and screeching noise on my front passenger side so i check and saw i needed a new tie rod i got that changed and noise is still there so then i lift the car up ad no noise but assooon as the car is on the ground and there is pressure on the wheels i turn the steering wheel all the way to right and here a screech like something is grinding. So took it to my mechanic and he could not find the problem but realized all my bolts on my frame were VERY loose so he tightened them. So today ride was perfectly smooth though everything was fixed until 25 miles into the day i hear the noise again! My guess bumpy ride knocks bolts off???? HELP

Take the car to a front end/suspension shop, not a general mechanic. They should be able to perform a more thorough inspection. Have them drive the car so they can hear the noise themselves.

A very long time ago my brother had a 71' Plymouth Roadrunner (yes, it was purple) and the idler arm had been loose for a long time even before he bought the car.

The steering wheel would shake violently sometimes (manual steering). By the time he figured out what the problem was the threaded hole in the frame for the idler arm had been elongated so bad it wouldn't even tighten up anymore.

Hopefully that's not what's happening to your TL.

Close!

Dodge's color was called Plum Crazy but Plymouth's was called Violet.

The bottom line is though they are the same color.
