Guy lives in my community..We were leaving at the same time..Pulled up to the first light..It was on, he was revving his engine, blah blah...Light goes green, we both squealed our front tires and from the loud hissing of his turbo, and his loud blow off valve, I knew he was stomping on the gas. I couldn't believe that my totally stock TLS beat him by about 1.5 car lengths. We hit the next light and it was on again. We both had a good even start and once again, I beat him by about the same 1.5 car lengths. The next light he rolls his window down and asks me what I have done to the car. I laughed and said it's bone stock. He said "NO WAY", i said yes, you wanna open the hood and look. I asked him what he had, he says he has garrett turbo, HKS blow off valve, and intercooler, turbo times, etc, etc. He said he was only running 7psi for street friendliness, thats why he thinks I won both times. He said when he goes to the track he runs 18 psi and does 13 sec 1/4 miles. Either way, I was pretty impressed that my stock automatic luxury sedan showed an aftermarket boosted 5-speed eclipse whats up, even if he was only running 7psi. Made my night for sure

I had a 92 Talon TSI (AKA Eclipse GSX).......... Stock turbo topped out at 11-12 psi producing 195 hp...a little tinkering and i ran a 13.50 on the stock turbo**......(**Don't recommend anyone try for long periods of time) if he was runnig only 7-8 psi you would be surprised how much gas you save!!!...for street friendliness that is!...........its like us hitting vtec off every red light...U can watch the guage take a nose dive w/ all those MODS

yeah it was a GS-T(FWD) for sure..I'm pretty sure he has all the mods done, because I saw the aftermarket intercooler and all the big piping that was all polished. You could see it from a mile away, it was a pretty big intercooler. And from the sounds of the turbo and the LOUD blow off valve, I doubt any of it was stock. But since he lives in my community, hopefully i will run into him the parking lot and see if he will let me take a look under the hood to verify mods.
