They have a strait pipe comming from the headers to the rear. So there is no cat, muffler etc.

In upstait NY you would have to worry about smog but thats the least of your worries. You know how loud a harley motorcycle is? Well, 4X that!! You would have to wear earplugs just to drive it and your neighbors.....

flamethrowers added on to the tip of the muffler.

im pretty sure nos would make this occur too. ive seen it on many cars and whenever they downshift, the flames go crazy.. its definitly not just a straight pipe going from the headers to the tip because i know ive seen some really quiet cars that are spitting flames too

i doubt that the mixture would be rich enough to ignite. You'd probably have to have a seperate fuel line running to the pipe.

1) High output turbo
2) Free flow exhaust
3)big down pipe
and you have a car that would be throwing flames everytime you hit redline :P

^^ No downpipe is the pipe that comes down, in case of a turbo, from the turbo down to the exhaust system The only way our cars can throw flames is with a flame thrower kit, and you dont want that, that system is made for cars without a cat, and running system rich will fuck the cat up. btw a wrx and an evo can also backfire and throw some flames

It's possible to do it in our cars, if you ran without the cat and have straight pipes. Our cars tend to run rich up top, anyway.

Smile Blow fire from tailpipe

It's definitely illegal in New Jersey. There is no much gas in the air it will blow up the state.
