Thumbs up Awsome Sway Bar~~!!

oh man~!!
I thought my 18"+lowered was good enough but after i installed sway bar on rear side, oh good ness. no more body roll during hard cornering. I think every TL owner should get this sway bar. A+++ (you know your stock car is bout to flip when you make a sharp turn..so get the sway bar now!)

i changed both and am very happy... i dont think i get too much oversteer now, and after lowering it with comptech springs i can throw my rear out at will... still learning to do that though (tons of fun)

the sway bar is basically a U shape the ends of the U connect to the A arms on each wheel left and right. the bottom of the U shape is where the frame of the car connects. when you corner the inside wheel moves down while the outside wheel moves up. this action causes the U shape to be twisted. the sway bar size determins the amount of twist that is allowed. basically the outside wheel is prevented from being pushed up into the fender well because the wheel on the other side is being pushed up into the fender well by the sway bar because both wheels are basically tied together.

its the same way as if you had a long bolt with 2 wrenches on each end. if you pull up on one wrench it will try to turn the wrench at the other end. if you connect the 2 wrenches, 1 to each wheel and attach the bolt to the underside of the car moving one wrench moves the other. so the body roll is eliminated.
hope this helps!

In laymen's term it'll keep your car flat as you take a turn (reduced body roll)

So is it recommended that we only install the rear sway bar?? It seems that most people are only installin' the rear one. What are the results of installin' the front ones??

The don't see much of an advantage to installing the rear sways only...In my Miata, when I was looking to install sways, I was only recommended to install the fronts because I would get crazy amounts of understeer.. I would change 'em both in the TL, which is exactly what I'm planning to do..
