automatic windows...

automatic windows...

the automatic window button for my drivers side just stopped working. it still lowers and rises, but won't do it after i depress the button. does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing the problem?

So you're saying when you push it down till it clicks it doesn't go down automatically? Sounds like the switch is bad.

This worked for me when I had the same problem. Try pressing and holding the button down as the window rolls down. Keep holding it for 3-4 seconds once the window has fully opened. Do the same for rolling it up (again hold for 3-4 seconds once closed). This seems to reprogram the switch.

I have had the same problem a couple times when I had my battery disconnected for a long period of time. This should work to fix the switch.

This only works on the 02-03 which has the auto down/up feature.

now it wont go down at all, im thinking maybe the motor is bad?

will the 02-03 switch fit and operate in a 00 tl for the automatic up and down front driver window?
