So the driver side window has the auto down when you press down, it automatically goes down. And when you press up, it goes up automatically. So I was in my car today resting and i accidentally left my lights on while I was in the car with the windows down and the battery died on me. then i turned off the car and then rolled my windows up. Now, i tried to do the auto up and down, but it doesn't go up by itself anymore. I checked the fuse under the hood, but there's no problems. Any help?

 

I think I've read about this before. Sorry I can't give you the solution, but I do believe there is one and it's somewhere on the forum.

 

Its in your manual on how to reset it. Its something like turn the key to the run position hold the switch to the down position and hold a few seconds after its all the way down. then repeat for the up.

 

I had the same thing happen to me the other night but it just did it randomly (my battery didnt die or anything) but a few hours later it worked again. Never had any problems with it before or after that one time.

 

mine goes down auto, but not up, i have a 2000, does it matter?

Yes, you dont have that feature, just down

LOL...I had that happen to me after I disconnected the battery. Called Acura and they told me what Kris said to do.

 

mine did it the other day after i disconnected my battery to install my sistem. i just rolled the window up and down a cuple 10 times and it started working again.

 

When did they put in that feature to go up and down? I have 2001 TL and it only goes down on my drivers side and not any other windowns. Of course I don't know if thats what it suppose to do.
