Damn man, was it on sierra madre?

all is all, and what's done is done. i give you props for comming out stright foward. Face the consequence and get it over with. We're still young and we learn from our mistake. Ignore the people that say you are dumb, because I know everyone once in there life time love to speed. Cops at pasadena nit pick on any car that is modded or have an exhaust, when i had my lude all i had was trouble at pasadena.

It happened on final weeks also =\. hopefully ill see you around at pcc man! keep your head up, it could've been worst if you had gotten hurt!

UPDATE: i finally got a letter from the police department telling me where my car is stored at.. and i went there to check it out.. but i didn't have a form from the police department that allowed me to retrieve items from the car.. *shit*.. and i wanted them to tilt my sunroof back down cause i left it tilted when they towed it..

anyways.. i asked them after taxes and everything.. and the guy there said it would be 850.. i was like wow.. and he said yeah.. you're lucky it was in the city of pasadena.. so i guess this makes me happy a bit.. but not a whole lot..

that includes the tow fees? oh release forms from the police are probably another 100 bucks.

Sorry to hear what happened to you, Henry. As everyone else said, move on and learn from the mistake. My advice is to contact traffic lawyer and see what they can do in this case. Even the fee is high, but if they can reduce the charge, it's still worth it. Good luck with everything.

Thanks LacViet.. dang I haven't seen you around this forum in awhile ! I'm just tryna keep my head up high and move on with this. I already contacted a few lawyers and seeing how they can help me. I'm definately gonna fight this because I had no real intentions to race the guy. The only proof the cop had was his gun, but he never even showed me that I was actually going 68mph. I really appreciate all the support from the forum. I'll update you guys periodically if something new comes up.

UPDATE - just received a letter from the popo.. saying i needa get a reexamination for my driving . (written test and vision) . i remember being honest to the popo and he was being such a dickhead .... i guess this will determine the suspension of my license ? gotta head to the dmv on march 17th & go from there .. =/

the form was something like .. "notice of suspension for non-compliance" , under that .. "request for regular re-examination of driver.."

Wow, sorry to hear that. I wouldn't have expected it it be that serious.

I'm definitely going to think twice before I get aggressive with someone.

well.. my license can still be suspended by court .. this is just dmv's take on my situation .. im sure the court will be the same if i told them the exact story .. as for the charge .. it's likely that it'll be brought down into an infraction .. but that would still mean i need to pay for it .

UPDATE: Just came back from the impound. Had to get vehicle release form from the P.D and it came out to be about $131. Then went to the towing/impound lot, paid $790 to get it out..

Found out that they did close my sunroof, thank god..

Car was extremely dirty .. ): Gonna wash her up a bit.

Glad you got it back in the shape it was before. Nice of them to close the sunroof too. Now be safe.
