Attn: TL drivers who have a Treo 700P from Verizon.

For the last year, I've had a Moto E815 that has worked flawlessly with the HFL in my 05 TL. There's no problem with it now, but I need to replace my Palm PDA, so I've been considering a smartphone--specifically the Treo 700P--so I only have to carry one device. But since the E815 works so well, I've been wondering if I should let well enough alone rather than end up with HFL-related problems and lots of regret.

So, if you have a 700P and have been using it with the TL's HFL, I'd like to hear about your experience. In fact, I'd really appreciate.

Also, please don't recommend other Smartphones. I'm sticking with the Palm OS, so it's the 700P or nothing.

I've been using my sprint Treo 700P since I got my new TL in July, it works flawlessly. It doesn't show battery strength and I've never really seen the signal strength bar do much but then again, I've never really had a need for either of these. I had no problems with the set up and once paired, the phone works perfectly.

 

Thanks. I've heard a couple 06 MDX drivers report problems with the 700P automatically pairing and not sending calls. No problems like those? Are there any handsfree settings in the 700P that might explain these kinds of issues?
