ATTENTION Megan Headers Users that are experiencing Rattling.

I've solved my noise problem! I thought the rattling noise was resonance, turns out it wasnt!! I inspected underneath the car and turns out, one of the screws on my cat's head sheild wasnt there! Looks like we forgot to put it on during the installation when we took off the heat sheild. Anyways, I put a zip tie there too see if thats wat was causings it, and its gonee!!!, I bought the screw from Acura and gonna take off the zip tie. So for those of you getting loud ass rattling sound, check your cat's heat sheild and make sure all screw are on and tight.

I was experiecing the same problem as Elementz, sounded like a chainsaw cutting a fence. I lovee my Megan headers now, I still have a bit of a leak but who the fuk cares lol as long as that loud ass noise is gone, im happy with my 180 dollar heades now.

keepinitclean - Thanks for all your help man, and sorry if I ever was rude, it was my fault on the installation, I aplogize for dissing on these headers.

Didn't think that little piece of shit screw could caused that much noise.

i love my megan's. 19whp for $200. i cannot possibly match that anywhere else. all my cat-shield bolts were in, but for anyone else who still has some issues, i was able to solve my rattles with $40 worth of header wrap. not a bad investment. my only beef is that the short, flexible section of downpipe seems to hang a little low. and the hanger is on the wrong side.

keepingitclean - i've been reading all your posts and you've been taking alot of flak. thanks for trying to help people despite some obvious attacks of your character. that's what this community is all about.

i gotta get the header wrap.
i also have a custom cat back.
the installer changed something.
because now my y pipe hits the undercarriage of the car.
maybe the hanger on the Megans has pulled the exhaust out of alignment.
i have get under the car and look.

SStypes...u say the hanger was on the wrong side?.

yeah, the hanger was on the wrong side, although i can't remember offhand if it was the left or the right side.

well, the guy who did it took the stock rubber piece out where the hanger goes and just left it. i haven't actually found any time since then to find a way to put it in either. the exhaust doesn't hang low or anything though (except for the notorious flex piece at the bottom of the downpipe).
